About Me – please see my CV here
I am the Director of Academic Services at the University of Connecticut’s marine and maritime campus, Avery Point in Groton.
Academic Services supports the registrar’s office, the academic center (student tutoring), faculty development, and scheduling.
Additionally, I teach four college-credit classes a year in United States history, Maritime Studies, Digital Humanities, and maritime piracy.
My research has focused on the role of religion in the life of seafarers, maritime piracy, and, more recently, the Gaspee Affair.
